Data Protection

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This page explains how Database 24×7 meets the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, notified on 13 November 2025. Most duties under the Rules apply from 13 May 2027; we follow them now.

Our role

We are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data of our website visitors, enquirers and customers, and for the leads we collect through our own campaigns. The intermediaries who receive a lead become independent Data Fiduciaries for that lead.

Our commitments

  • Clear notice and consent: every form says what we collect, why, and who receives it, with a separate tick box where consent is needed. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
  • Only what we need: we collect the minimum data for each purpose and never PAN, Aadhaar, KYC, bank, demat or trading account details.
  • Security: HTTPS, firewalls, malware scanning, restricted staff and administrator access, and access logs kept for at least 1 year.
  • Breaches: if a personal data breach occurs we inform affected people without delay and the Data Protection Board of India within 72 hours, as the Rules require.
  • Retention: data is deleted when its purpose is served, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
  • Children: we do not knowingly process data of anyone under 18.
  • Vendors: service providers handle data only under contract and only for our purposes.

Your rights and how to use them

You can ask to access, correct, update or erase your data, withdraw consent, nominate someone to act for you, or stop all contact. Email info@database24x7.in with the subject “Data request” and the mobile number or email concerned, or “Remove my number” to be taken out of all future supplies. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 30 days.
